The #Shrill collection is Hugo Boss's move toward a sharper, more angular silhouette — the cushion case sits somewhere between square and octagonal, which gives it a more considered outline than a straightforward round. At 42mm it wears with presence, and the black IP coating runs consistently across both case and bracelet, so the whole thing reads as a single dark object on the wrist rather than a case dropped onto a strap. The grey sunray dial keeps it from feeling entirely flat against all that black, picking up light differently as the wrist moves, and the red accent on the seconds hand gives the eye somewhere to land without overcrowding the face. At 9.45mm the case sits close to the wrist for a 42mm watch, which matters when wearing it under a cuff.
