Stepping up in Michele's range
The Deco collection takes its geometry directly from Art Deco architecture — the rectangular case is not a fashion concession but a deliberate echo of that period's hard angles and hierarchical surfaces. Twelve brilliant diamonds stand in for hour markers on the mother-of-pearl dial, and the three chronograph sub-dials are finished with fine gold foil, a detail that only becomes apparent close up. That 18K gold-plated seven-link bracelet alternates plated and bare steel links in a pattern that carries the two-tone logic of the case rather than simply matching it. The quick-release pins are the practical advantage of the Michele system: any 18mm Michele strap drops straight in, so the watch can move between the bracelet and a leather or satin strap without tools.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Will the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
What size strap does it take?
18mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as women's.
Cheapest place to buy
Goldsmiths is the only UK retailer we track stocking this reference, so there is nothing to compare it against today.
Who are Goldsmiths?
Goldsmiths has been selling watches in Britain since 1778 and is part of the Watches of Switzerland Group, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. They are an authorised dealer, so a watch comes with the manufacturer’s own warranty.
