Radley

Radley London was founded in 1998 as a handbag brand, and named for the founder's Scottish terrier. The dog became the logo, and remains the single most recognisable thing about the label — stamped, embossed, or hanging from a bag as a leather charm.

The watches are licensed rather than manufactured in-house, produced by a specialist watch maker under agreement and sold through the same department stores and jewellers as the bags.

They are designed as accessories to the accessories: slim cases, printed or textured dials, coloured leather straps, and the terrier appearing on the dial, the caseback or the strap keeper. Quartz movements, gift-market pricing.
