Stepping up in Radley's range
Part of Radley's Duke's Place collection, this is a dressed-down daily piece built around the brand's signature Scottie dog charm — a small dangling detail near the lugs that marks it clearly as Radley without needing to be announced. The stepped bezel gives the case a little architectural interest, and the dial mixes baton indices with Arabic numerals rather than committing to either convention, keeping the face readable and unfussy. At 27mm and only 6mm deep, it wears close to a small wrist with almost no presence under a sleeve, which is rather the point for a watch this size. The crocodile-effect leather strap in a warm nude tone sits quietly against skin and pairs well with the rose gold hardware throughout.

Learn more about Radley
Radley London was founded in 1998 as a handbag brand, and named for the founder's Scottish terrier. The dog became the logo, and remains the single most recognisable thing about the label — stamped, embossed, or hanging from a bag as a leather charm.
The watches are licensed rather than manufactured in-house, produced by a specialist watch maker under agreement and sold through the same department stores and jewellers as the bags.
They are designed as accessories to the accessories: slim cases, printed or textured dials, coloured leather straps, and the terrier appearing on the dial, the caseback or the strap keeper. Quartz movements, gift-market pricing.
Radley is a well-run British accessories brand and its watches are exactly what the label suggests they are — coordinated, characterful and inexpensive, rather than horological.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
No. At 30m it will survive rain and handwashing, but not submersion of any kind.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as women's.
