The Anthelope sits within Swatch's 1994 Originals Lady run, a line that treated the transparent resin case as part of the design rather than simply a housing — the clear body lets the movement sit visibly beneath the gold dial in a way that would have looked quietly bold in its year. Roman numerals and a central seconds hand keep the face legible without complicating it. At 25mm the case is modest even by the standards of early-nineties ladies' Swatches, and the blue leather strap with its white contrast stitching and clear buckle gives the whole thing a coordinated, considered look that holds up well. New-old-stock examples like this, untouched since the early nineties and still in original packaging with paperwork, are genuinely uncommon — most were worn, and the leather straps on those that were not tend to have stiffened over the decades, so this is a piece better kept than used.
