Hamilton Khaki BelowZero Titanium 46mm
Ref. H78505330
Sits in Hamilton’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Hamilton watches we list, which start at £375.
Price range £375 to £2,265 across 58 Hamilton watches in stock. The BeLOWZERO began as a prop requirement and became a specification exercise: when Hamilton supplied it to Christopher Nolan's production for Tenet, the brief demanded something credible at extreme depth, and the watch earned its place on screen by meeting that standard in reality rather than merely looking the part. The helium escape valve, the screw-down crown behind its raised protective guards, the 1,000-metre rating — these are working decisions, not aesthetic ones. Titanium at this size carries differently than steel would; 46mm sounds aggressive on paper but the case sits lighter than the numbers suggest, and the all-black PVD finish absorbs light rather than competing with it. The black dial with its Super-LumiNova-treated hands reads cleanly under low light, which is rather the condition it was designed for. The H-10 calibre runs an 80-hour power reserve, useful when a watch spends time in a dive bag or pressure chamber between uses, and the caseback carries an embossed diving mask that acknowledges what the watch is actually for without being theatrical about it.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
Yes. At 1000m it is rated for swimming, snorkelling and recreational diving.
Will the glass scratch?
Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — the motion of your wrist winds it, and there is no cell to replace.
How long does it run for when it's not worn?
About 80 hours fully wound — enough to sit off the wrist over a weekend and still be running.
What size strap does it take?
24mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
