The brief was clearly restraint: no date window, no subdials, just a vertically brushed blue dial with grey baton indices and hands that stay out of each other's way. At 43mm it reads with presence on the wrist without tipping into sportswear territory, and the push-button deployment clasp holds the bracelet securely without the looseness that plagues cheaper fold-over closures. The blue takes on different weight depending on the light — cooler and more recessive indoors, richer in daylight — which keeps the dial from reading as flat.
