The #FIRST collection is Hugo Boss's all-black line, built around the idea that no part of the watch should interrupt the monochrome. Ionic plating rather than paint or coating gives the case and bracelet a harder, more consistent finish than standard black PVD, and at 43mm the proportions sit squarely in the centre of what the format demands — large enough to read as intentional on the wrist, not so large it tips into costume. The red seconds hand is the one concession to contrast, and against the matte black dial and grey batons it lands sharply.
