Thirty metres of water resistance suits the watch honestly — this is a dress piece, and it will spend its life on shirt cuffs, not near water. What makes the movement worth noting is the silicon balance-spring itself: resistant to magnetic fields in a way that steel cannot match, and less sensitive to the temperature swings that slowly degrade a conventional escapement.
