The Sports range is Lorus's workaday answer to a capable field and water chronograph — nothing borrowed from a heritage archive, just a brief to make a legible, robust watch at a useful size. The VD53 movement inside is a Seiko Instruments calibre, which means Japanese-made quartz with a solid record for accuracy and very little that needs attention over the years. The dark green sunray dial is the detail that carries this one. It shifts between deep and bright depending on how light catches it, and the yellow seconds hand gives the chronograph a visual snap that makes the function actually readable at a glance rather than decorative. Sub-dials handle the elapsed-time readout and a 24-hour display, with the date tucked between four and five. The multi-link bracelet matches the case well and the folding clasp holds it securely.
