Stepping up in Marc Jacobs's range
A 28 mm round case in rose gold-plated stainless steel keeps proportions trim and close to the wrist at 6.2 mm thick. The white dial is arranged with index markers and a small seconds sub-dial at six o'clock, with luminous treatment applied to the hands and key markers. Scratch-resistant mineral glass sits over the dial, and the case back is solid. A 12 mm rose gold-plated link bracelet fastens with a fold-over deployment clasp with double push-button release. Water resistance stands at 50 metres. Movement is Japanese quartz.

Marc Jacobs founded his label in New York in 1984 and spent sixteen years as creative director at Louis Vuitton alongside it, which is where much of the brand's international standing came from.
The watches are licensed. Fossil held the agreement from 2005, launching the main line that autumn and Marc by Marc Jacobs the year after. In 2019 the licence transferred to Bedrock Manufacturing, founded by Fossil's own co-founder Tom Kartsotis.
They are fashion watches and make no pretence otherwise: quartz movements, design led by the label's aesthetic rather than by horology, priced accordingly. If you want the look of the house on your wrist that is exactly what these deliver.
