The 1858 GMT takes an unconventional approach to its second time zone display: rather than a traditional GMT hand, a red square travels around the outer edge of the dial beside a fixed black anodised aluminium bezel marked with a 24-hour scale. The system accommodates half-hour zones as well as full ones. The black sunray dial carries Arabic numerals and hands treated with Super-LumiNova, while a domed sapphire crystal with double anti-reflective coating sits above. The titanium caseback is engraved with the Earth's continents, oceans, and the names of 24 cities. A quick-release black rubber strap with fine adjustment completes the package.
