The Florence collection has its roots in the 1980s, named for the Italian city that gave the Renaissance its centre of gravity. The line moved through rectangular and barrel-shaped cases across its first decade before settling into the round form it carries today, and it has stayed close to that template since. At 30mm the dial sits trimly on the wrist, and the champagne ground with its rose gold glitter finish reads warmly in most light — the alternating rose gold links in the bracelet pick up the same tone, so the whole piece holds together without looking coordinated by committee.
