The Toscana is Roamer's case for a fully committed monochrome — blue ion-plated case, blue sub-dial chronograph, blue bracelet, all resolved into a single coherent colour statement rather than a watch that merely has blue touches. The radiating dial layout gives the three sub-dials a sense of motion at a standstill, and the date sits at four o'clock where it does not interrupt the symmetry of the lower register. At 43mm and 12mm thick, it sits assertively on the wrist without the kind of bulk that makes a chronograph hard to dress around. The butterfly clasp is well-suited to the matched bracelet — no visible hardware to break the blue, and a single uninterrupted line from lug to lug when the clasp is closed.
