The screw-down crown and caseback give the 200-metre rating teeth, and at 12.02mm thick the case is trim enough for a serious diver-rated chronograph to sit without announcing itself under a shirt cuff. The ETA G10.212 brings a useful set of chronograph tools — split timing and a tenth-of-a-second counter among them — along with an end-of-life indicator that warns before the battery fails rather than after, which is genuinely useful in a watch you might trust in the water.
