The 40mm stainless steel case is slender at 8.25mm thick, sitting close to the wrist and lending the Ballade a quietly dressy character. A fluted bezel frames the ice blue dial, which carries a sunbeam guilloché pattern and a date window at three o'clock. Silver-tone baton indices and matching hands wear a luminescent coating. The sapphire crystal has a single anti-reflective coating on the underside. A stainless steel link bracelet with a push-button butterfly clasp completes the watch, water-resistant to 100 metres.
