The square case is defined by those lines, and the engraved Greca pattern on the bezel, together with the polished screw-head detailing, give the architecture something to do beyond holding the dial in place. The 3D Medusa at twelve reads as a full-stop to all of it. At 7.65mm thick on a 35.9mm square case, it sits with unusual flatness against the wrist and disappears beneath a sleeve without resistance. The black dial keeps the contrast sharp against the silver bracelet, and the integrated link construction means the bracelet reads as continuous with the case rather than attached to it — an effect the deployment clasp preserves by staying low and unobtrusive at the underside. At 100 grams it is present without being heavy.

Gianni Versace founded his house in Milan in 1978 and built it on maximalism — bold prints, Greek key borders, and the Medusa head he took from the floor of the Roman ruins he played in as a child. Donatella Versace took over after his death in 1997.
