The AML Timeless TS1 was drawn directly from the Aston Martin dashboard — the dial numerals mimic classic analogue gauges, and the 1913 marque logo sits where a movement signature might on a traditional piece. That rotor, finished in Podium Green, is the one part that belongs entirely to the car world, visible through the exhibition caseback in the way a racing engine might be seen through a bonnet vent. At 41mm and 14mm deep, it wears as a substantial dress-adjacent piece rather than a driver's tool, the sunray silver dial shifting between grey and bright depending on the angle of light. The partial skeleton opens the movement to the dial side as well, so the mechanical work reads from both faces. The two-tone bracelet with deployant clasp is the kind of detail that either commits a wearer to the aesthetic or does not — there is nothing restrained about it. The recycled stainless steel case is worth noting: Aston Martin has positioned this not as provenance dressing but as a considered material choice, which gives the brand collaboration a slightly different character from the usual automotive co-signs.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch

Can I swim with it?

Yes. At 100m it is rated for swimming and snorkelling, though not for diving.

Will the glass scratch?

It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.

Does it need a battery?

No. It is automatic — the motion of your wrist winds it, and there is no cell to replace.

Is it a men's or women's watch?

Listed as men's.
