Stepping up in Burberry's range
A 32mm case in gold PVD-plated stainless steel keeps proportions neat on the wrist. The gold-tone dial carries Burberry's signature check pattern, with the date window positioned at three o'clock. Hands sit against that patterned surface in a clean analogue arrangement, protected by sapphire crystal. The brown leather strap features a Nova check fabric centre panel, fastened with a stainless steel pin buckle. At 8mm thick and rated to 50 metres, it sits close and flat.

Thomas Burberry opened a draper's shop in Basingstoke in 1856 and invented gabardine in 1879 — a breathable weatherproof fabric that clothed Antarctic expeditions and British officers in the trenches. The trench coat is his.
The watches are produced under licence and carry the house check on dials and straps, with Swiss quartz and automatic movements in generally restrained cases.
