At 42mm and only 11mm deep, the case sits flatter than the chronograph layout inside might suggest, and the all-black PVD treatment across both case and bracelet keeps the whole thing from reading as costume. The butterfly clasp opens cleanly with both thumbs and the bracelet does not catch on a cuff edge the way a folded tang would. The three sub-dials — small seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour counters — are arranged on a dial that is already busy with texture, so legibility in mixed light takes a moment of adjustment, but the date window at four o'clock sits clear of the chronograph layout and is easy to find.
