The 42.5mm case is machined from Czapek's proprietary "XO" steel, an especially corrosion-resistant alloy supplied by Swiss firm Montanstahl, with the crown organically integrated into the case middle and shielded by two raised sections on either side. A curved sapphire crystal sits above and an exhibition caseback below, both with anti-reflective coating. The bombé dial carries a sun-brushed silvered finish that mimics the dome of natural enamel. Night-blue Roman numerals circle the chapter ring, with blued steel triangular hands tracking the hours and minutes. Small seconds sit at 7:30 and a power reserve with weekday tracker at 4:30, an arrangement drawn from François Czapek's 1850s pocket watch designs. The manual-wound SXH1 calibre, developed with Jean-François Mojon, offers 168 hours of reserve from twin barrels. An alligator strap with an XO steel pin buckle completes the watch.
