The Master Chief line has always been about proportion used as provocation — cases structured to read as larger than their measurements, lug designs that push out past the dial, crown guards that turn a functional detail into a design one. On the DZ4700SET that asymmetric guard runs across the three o'clock side and reads almost architectural, giving the watch a deliberately one-sided silhouette. The matte black sunray dial behind it keeps the confrontational shape from tipping over: indices and hands in silver sit cleanly against it, and the face stays readable. At 43mm this would wear modestly on most wrists, but the integrated lug structure and 27mm strap width push it well past that on the wrist — blockier and more present than the diameter alone implies. Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
