Emporio Armani AR60007 Automatic Black Leather Men's Watch
Ref. AR60007
Sits in Emporio Armani’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Emporio Armani watches we list, which start at £100.
Price range £100 to £359 across 283 Emporio Armani watches in stock. The Luigi collection is Emporio Armani's attempt to bring visible mechanical movement into a dress context without reaching for a Swiss movement price point — the Miyota 8N24 does that job neatly, running reliably over a 42-hour reserve and requiring little attention from the wearer. At 43mm with a 51mm lug-to-lug, this sits firmly in large-dial territory, but the rose gold PVD case keeps it squarely in fashion-watch idiom rather than tool-watch territory, and 67 grams means it carries without fatigue through a long day. The silver sunray dial opens into the movement beneath, and the exhibition caseback gives the same view from the other side — there is genuine coherence to that decision, since the watch makes no sense closed. The crocodile-embossed leather strap in black against the rose gold hardware is a considered pairing, understated in a way the dial itself is not, and the conventional prong buckle keeps fit adjustment entirely simple.

Learn more about Emporio Armani
Giorgio Armani launched Emporio Armani in 1981 as a younger, more accessible line beneath the main label. Watches followed under licence, and since 2000 they have been produced by Fossil Group, which holds the manufacturing and distribution rights.
The watches are fashion accessories rather than horological objects, and the house does not claim otherwise. Movements are bought-in quartz and Japanese automatic calibres, cased in designs that follow the clothing line's aesthetic: muted palettes, clean dials, and a preference for restraint over ornament.
That restraint is the appeal. Where much of the licensed-fashion category reaches for size and shine, Emporio Armani generally does not, and the better references in the line are quietly proportioned watches at prices well under the Swiss entry point.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
No. At 30m it will survive rain and handwashing, but not submersion of any kind.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
No. It is automatic — the motion of your wrist winds it, and there is no cell to replace.
How long does it run for when it's not worn?
About 42 hours fully wound — enough to survive a night off the wrist, but not a full weekend.
What size strap does it take?
22mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Will it fit my wrist?
Lug-to-lug is 51mm, which suits wrists from roughly 17.5cm (7 inches) upward.
Lug-to-lug decides fit more than case diameter does.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as men's.
