The GMW-BZ5000GD-9ER is what happens when that same case geometry is remade entirely in stainless steel and finished in gold ion plating: same silhouette, substantially different proposition. The resin shock absorber sits inside now, hidden behind metal on every surface, and the screw-lock caseback seals it to 200 metres. At 172 grams on the wrist, it is a deliberate presence. The MIP display rewards the weight — eight selectable layouts mean the dial can read as a clean seven-segment classic or a denser informational screen depending on mood, and the Super Illuminator makes either legible in the dark without hunting for the button. Timekeeping resolves itself through Multi-Band 6 radio reception or the Bluetooth link to Casio's app, whichever signal finds it first, pulling from a pool of around 300 city presets. The solar cell keeps the whole system running indefinitely in normal use, or holds charge for up to 22 months in Power Saving mode if the watch is put away.
