Premium

Sits in Gucci’s upper tier here — more premium than three quarters of the Gucci watches we list, which start at £499.

Price range £499 to £8,130 across 58 Gucci watches in stock.

At 9.1mm thick, this sits well outside the proportions most divers occupy — shallow enough to disappear under a shirt cuff while remaining rated to depths that most owners will never test. That combination is genuinely unusual, and it is what separates this from the broader category rather than simply from the fashion end of Gucci's own range. The blue sunray dial carries the Interlocking G motif as a structural element worked into the surface rather than printed onto it, and the black ceramic bezel provides contrast against the steel without adding bulk. The 56-hour power reserve means a watch left on the nightstand over a long weekend will still be running on Monday morning, which is a practical consideration the movement earns rather than merely promises.

Learn more about Gucci

Guccio Gucci opened a leather goods shop in Florence in 1921, and the house became one of the defining Italian luxury brands of the twentieth century.

Gucci's watches occupy unusual ground. Unlike most fashion houses, Gucci produces in Switzerland through its own facility in La Chaux-de-Fonds, and the watches carry Swiss Made designation. The G-Timeless line uses Swiss quartz and automatic movements, and recent references have included in-house-adjacent complications.

The design language is unmistakably Gucci — the green-red-green web stripe, the interlocking Gs, bee and snake motifs — applied to cases that are generally well proportioned. It sits above the licensed-fashion category without claiming to compete with the Swiss manufactures.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch

Can I swim with it?

Yes. At 300m it is rated for swimming, snorkelling and recreational diving.

Will the glass scratch?

Unlikely. Sapphire is second only to diamond in hardness and shrugs off everyday marking.

Does it need a battery?

No. It is automatic — the motion of your wrist winds it, and there is no cell to replace.

How long does it run for when it's not worn?

About 56 hours fully wound — enough to survive a night off the wrist, but not a full weekend.

Is it a men's or women's watch?

Listed as men's, though at 40mm it sits in the range that suits anyone.

Cheapest place to buy

Goldsmiths is the only UK retailer we track stocking this reference, so there is nothing to compare it against today.

Who are Goldsmiths?

Goldsmiths has been selling watches in Britain since 1778 and is part of the Watches of Switzerland Group, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. They are an authorised dealer, so a watch comes with the manufacturer’s own warranty.
