The Colette collection is Guess's answer to a familiar brief: something that reads as jewellery on the wrist but keeps time reliably. The 32mm case sits close to the wrist without crowding it, and the zirconia stones set into the bezel and around the dial catch light in a way the mother-of-pearl beneath them amplifies rather than competes with — the two surfaces shift together as the wrist moves. At 74 grams on a stainless steel bracelet, it has enough presence to feel considered without becoming heavy through a day's wear. The folding clasp releases cleanly on both sides, and the links can be adjusted at home with a pin-pusher, which matters more than it sounds on a watch sized to sit flush with a narrow wrist.
