The Conquest name has been registered with the Swiss Federal Intellectual Property Office since 1954, making it one of the few watch collections with a formally protected identity. This 38mm quartz version, new for 2026, sits in the middle of the L3.750 family alongside sandblasted black, white and blue siblings — the green dial here takes a sunray finish rather than sandblasted texture, which gives it a different quality of light: it shifts from deep forest to brighter tones depending on the angle. At 9.20mm thick, the case wears closer to the wrist than most people expect from a steel sports watch, and 38mm is a size that disappears under a cuff without effort. The movement is the L157.3, Longines' designation for the ETA Precidrive E64.111 — a thermocompensated quartz that runs significantly more accurately than a standard quartz oscillator, with around 25 months between battery changes. The date sits at six o'clock, which keeps the dial symmetrical through the other five hours. The 19mm lug width is worth noting before buying: it is an uncommon size that narrows the aftermarket strap options considerably, and without quick-release spring bars, changing the bracelet requires a tool.
