Aviators still use that convention, and the watch was designed to serve exactly that reading: a second time zone set and read quickly, without interrupting the flight. At 42mm the proportions sit squarely in the working-tool tradition rather than the dress-pilot crossover, and the anthracite dial deepens considerably under low light, which is where the Super-LumiNova earns its place.
