Lorus sits within the Seiko group and the PC33 movement inside this watch reflects that parentage — a calibre with a three-year battery life that runs without fuss and without asking much of the owner. At 41mm across and 10.7mm thick the case wears without bulk, and the gradation dial does what a sunray blue does best: reads as a flat, clean surface in shade and shifts noticeably in direct light, making a relatively simple watch look more considered than its category demands.
