The trade-off is that it neither hacks nor hand-winds, so setting it precisely takes a little patience — a reasonable compromise for a self-winding movement at this level of the catalogue. The dark green sunray dial does most of the visual work, shifting between near-black and a rich olive depending on the angle, with gold-tone hands and markers sitting against it with enough contrast to read cleanly.
