Stepping up in Marc Jacobs's range
A round 36 mm stainless steel case, 10 mm thick, carries a silver dial with dotted indexes and Arabic numerals at the 3, 6, and 9 positions. The hands are gold-tone, and the fixed bezel carries engraved "Marc by Marc Jacobs" lettering. A scratch-resistant mineral crystal sits above the dial. The two-tone bracelet pairs silver and gold stainless steel links, 20 mm wide, fastening with a push-button deployment clasp. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.

Marc Jacobs founded his label in New York in 1984 and spent sixteen years as creative director at Louis Vuitton alongside it, which is where much of the brand's international standing came from.
The watches are licensed. Fossil held the agreement from 2005, launching the main line that autumn and Marc by Marc Jacobs the year after. In 2019 the licence transferred to Bedrock Manufacturing, founded by Fossil's own co-founder Tom Kartsotis.
They are fashion watches and make no pretence otherwise: quartz movements, design led by the label's aesthetic rather than by horology, priced accordingly. If you want the look of the house on your wrist that is exactly what these deliver.
