No two pieces of this material are identical, which means no two examples of this watch share the same dial. The case around it is built in layers rather than machined from a single material. A burgundy NORTEQ carbon cage surrounds an anthracite rubber shock-absorber, which in turn houses a sandblasted titanium container enclosing the movement — an architecture designed to isolate the calibre from impact rather than simply resist it. NORTEQ is Norqain's own carbon fibre composite, and its practical consequence is a 42mm watch that weighs almost nothing on the wrist: six times less than steel, 3.5 times less than titanium. At 12.3mm thick with a 49.4mm lug-to-lug, it sits closer to the wrist than its depth rating might suggest. The NN20/1 inside was developed with Kenissi — the movement manufacturer behind a number of respected Swiss calibres — and holds COSC chronometer certification alongside a 70-hour power reserve and a dual-bridge balance support that keeps accuracy stable under physical stress. The strap buckle is burgundy NORTEQ, matching the inner cage, a detail that only becomes apparent once the watch is off the wrist.
