The Toccata's rectangular case is a deliberate reference to the Art Deco watchmaking of the 1920s and 1930s, a form that Raymond Weil has sustained across a long-running ladies' collection while keeping manufacture firmly in Geneva. This particular reference is the all-gold-PVD variant: case, bracelet and folding clasp all sharing the same warm plating, so the watch reads as a single piece of metal on the wrist rather than a combination of parts. At 6.25mm, Raymond Weil describe this as their shallowest case to date, and on a rectangular footprint that proportion is immediately felt — it disappears under a cuff and sits close enough to the wrist that it reads more as an accessory than as an instrument. The white dial with black Roman numerals is straightforward to read, and the bevelled case edges give a sense of depth the thickness does not actually contain.
