Part of Seiko's Prospex line, the SRPL13K1 draws on two of the brand's angular case designs — the Samurai and Shogun — resulting in the nickname "Shog-urai". The 41.7mm stainless steel case carries steeply angled lugs and a screw-down crown and case back, with a unidirectional rotating bezel for dive timing. The black dial features pointed hands and indices treated with LumiBrite, alongside a date window at 4:30. The 4R35 automatic movement offers manual winding, hacking seconds, and around 41 hours of power reserve. A stainless steel bracelet completes the watch, rated to 200m.
