Sekonda's Edge line is built around jewellery-adjacent styling rather than conventional watchmaking, and the 40044 is a clear expression of that. The bracelet is the design: each stainless steel link is tubular, capped at both ends with Swarovski crystals, so the whole band reads as a continuous strand of set stones rather than anything mechanical. The bezel follows, ringed with the same crystals, and the silver dial uses them again at the hours, keeping the face minimal against the busier surround. At 28mm it sits close to the wrist and disappears into a cuff, which suits the dress or evening context this watch is clearly drawn for. The folding clasp gives a cleaner wrist profile than a traditional jewellery clasp would, which matters when the bracelet is the thing people are meant to notice.
