Price range £45 to £270 across 57 Storm watches in stock.The Camera line began in 1995 with a bezel that opened and closed like a shutter — the V7 is the seventh generation of that same conceit, which makes this one of the longer-running design exercises in British watch design. The rotating bezel here works through a bar at six o'clock: turn it anticlockwise and the mechanism draws back to reveal the lazer blue dial beneath, the reveal mimicking an aperture opening. It is a piece of theatre that still has a practical side — the uni-directional action means it cannot be nudged accidentally to show less elapsed time than has actually passed. At 43.5mm the case is built to be noticed, and the bamboo-patterned bracelet with its S-fold clasp leans further into the industrial aesthetic rather than softening it. Each example ships with an etched steel certificate confirming its Special Edition status, which is a considered touch given how many watches claim that designation without any authentication behind it.

Storm was founded in London in 1989 and spent the next decade doing something few watch brands attempt: treating the case as sculpture rather than a container for a dial.
The house style is immediately identifiable — mirror-polished steel, faceted and asymmetric cases, dials with no numerals at all, and a fondness for finishes that make the whole watch look like a single machined block of metal.
Some of the designs abandon conventional time display entirely, using rotating discs, hidden apertures or coloured mirror crystals that only reveal the time at certain angles. The Remi and Zorex lines have carried that idea for years.
The brand designs and produces its own watches rather than licensing the name, and sells through its own stores and jewellers, mostly in the UK and Europe.
Movements are quartz throughout. The point has never been the mechanics; it is that a Storm watch does not look like anything else in the window, which after thirty-five years remains a fair claim.
