Stepping up in the same colour and case shape
The Lidia collection is Tommy Hilfiger's attempt at a dress-adjacent fashion watch that can still handle daily use — a mesh bracelet, a sunray dial with the brand monogram set beneath twelve, rose gold-tone hands moving against silver. The sub-dials adding day, date and 24-hour time give it more working parts than a simple two-hand piece, without making the dial feel busy. At 40mm and roughly 8 to 9mm deep, it sits flat and lightweight on the wrist — 63 grams in total means the mesh bracelet is doing very little to weigh things down. The sliding clasp allows for a precise fit rather than committing to fixed links, which on a mesh this fine makes a noticeable difference to how cleanly it lies.

Frequently asked questions, and things you should know about this watch
Can I swim with it?
No. At 30m it will survive rain and handwashing, but not submersion of any kind.
Will the glass scratch?
It can, over time. Mineral glass handles daily wear but will pick up fine scratches that sapphire would not.
Does it need a battery?
Yes. It is quartz, so expect a battery change every two to three years at a jeweller.
What size strap does it take?
18mm. Any strap of that width will fit, and on most modern watches quick-release bars make the swap a two-minute job with no tools.
Is it a men's or women's watch?
Listed as women's, though at 40mm it sits in the range that suits anyone.
