Stepping up in Vivienne Westwood's range
The Little Wallace collection takes its name and its mood from the Wallace Collection in London, and specifically from Fragonard's Rococo painting The Swing — the dial is jacquard-etched with the kind of intricate surface patterning you would expect on a frame in that building rather than on a wristwatch. Swarovski crystals line the bezel, and crystal hour markers sit against the champagne dial; the Westwood Orb appears on both the seconds hand and the crown, which is the house's usual way of signing a piece without a logo on the dial face. At 32mm and 9.36mm deep, it wears closer to jewellery proportions than to a conventional watch, and the slim profile means the butterfly clasp folds away cleanly under a cuff. The five-link bracelet is built to be sized down by a jeweller, which matters on a case this neat — the fit needs to be right for the whole thing to read correctly.

Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren opened a shop at 430 King's Road in 1971, and over the next few years it became the outfitter of British punk. Westwood went on to become one of the most decorated designers Britain has produced, with the orb logo — a sovereign's orb with a Saturn ring — as the house signature from 1987.
The watches are licensed rather than made in-house, produced under agreement by a British accessories manufacturer and sold through department stores and jewellers.
They carry the house language directly: the orb on the crown or the dial, tartan and heritage-check straps, asymmetric cases, and a willingness to be decorative that most watch brands avoid. Quartz movements, fashion pricing.
Westwood died in 2022. The house continues, and the watch line with it.
