The white sunray dial with two black sub-dials gives it enough contrast to read quickly, and the silver-tone baton indexes keep things clean rather than busy. The black leather strap pitches this firmly as an everyday piece that can move between casual and smart without difficulty. Fifty metres of water resistance is adequate for incidental splashes but not swimming, which suits the strap material anyway.
