Being a Seiko group movement, it carries a reliability that sits well above what the sports tier usually demands. At 43mm the case reads confidently on the wrist, but 11.4mm keeps it from stacking too high under a cuff. The black sunray dial organises three sub-dials cleanly — split time, running seconds, and a 12-to-24-hour register — with the date cut neatly between four and five o'clock. The red stitching on the leather strap gives the steel-and-black combination somewhere to land visually without overplaying its hand.
