The Little Daddy 2.0 sits in Diesel's Mr. Daddy lineage, a family built around the idea that a watch should be impossible to overlook. Where the original Mr. Daddy pushed case dimensions to an extreme, the Little Daddy reframes that attitude in something closer to wearable — though at 57 × 66mm it remains a deliberate provocation rather than a concession to restraint. The black ion-plated case carries rose gold and green accents across the dial, a combination that reads as intentional rather than accidental, and the camouflage leather strap reinforces the utilitarian-luxe tension the collection has always traded on. Chronograph subdials, a dual time display and a date window give the dial genuine density, which at this scale it carries without crowding.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
