The Little Daddy 2.0 sits within Diesel's Mr. Daddy lineage, a family of watches built around deliberate excess — the kind of oversized, confrontational design that made the original Mr. Daddy a talking point. Where the full Mr. Daddy pushed into truly theatrical dimensions, the Little Daddy takes the same layered, multi-register dial and brings it to a case that is still unmistakably large but wearable across a broader range of wrists. At 57 × 66mm it is not a watch that goes unnoticed, and the black multi-layer dial is arranged to reward that attention — several sub-displays stacked into a composition that reads more like an instrument panel than a dress dial. On leather it sits with more give than a bracelet would offer, which matters on a case this size.

Renzo Rosso founded Diesel in Molvena in 1978, building a denim brand on deliberate irreverence. The watches, produced under licence by Fossil Group, carry that attitude directly.
Where most fashion watches aim for restraint, Diesel does the opposite: oversized cases frequently past 50mm, blacked-out finishes, exposed screws, multiple crowns, and dials that prioritise visual impact over legibility. The Mr Daddy models stack four time zones onto a single dial.
Whether that appeals is a matter of taste, but the design intent is consistent and unmistakable, which is more than can be said for much of the category.
