The Jazzmaster line began as Hamilton's answer to a specific brief: a dress watch thin enough to read as jewellery but Swiss enough to be taken seriously. At 7.8mm, this version makes that case convincingly — it disappears under a shirt cuff and sits flush against the wrist in a way that thicker quartz movements rarely allow. The dusty blue dial works differently depending on the light. In shade it reads as almost slate; angled towards a window the sunray brushing pulls it towards something closer to teal. Skeletonised Dauphine hands are a considered choice at this size — open enough not to lose themselves against the colour, shaped well enough to stay formal. The butterfly clasp on the bracelet adjusts without tools and sits flat, which matters on a watch this slim.
