The Khaki Field's story begins in the Second World War, when Hamilton supplied precision instruments to Allied forces — a history the Field line has carried forward ever since. The H70455140 sits at 38mm, a diameter that reads as considered rather than cautious: close enough to the original soldiers' watches to feel honest about where it comes from, and proportioned well enough to sit equally on narrower wrists.
