Stepping up in the same colour and case shape
The Classic range is Limit's long-running line of no-fuss dress watches built for the British market — modest in scale, traditional in layout, and meant to sit beneath a shirt cuff without drawing attention to themselves. At 35mm and just 8mm deep, this one does exactly that. The white dial carries full Arabic numerals in black against the clean ground, which keeps it readable at a glance without any fussiness. What makes the bracelet worth noting is that it expands rather than fastens: you pull it over the hand and it contracts onto the wrist by itself, with no clasp to align and no links to remove. For a watch worn and removed daily, that turns out to matter more than it sounds.

Limit has been sold in Britain since 1912, and for most of that time it has occupied one position without much deviation: the cheapest watch in the shop that is still worth owning.
It sits under Time Products, the same ownership as Sekonda and Accurist, which gives all three shared sourcing and distribution across British jewellers, catalogue retailers and department stores.
The range is deliberately conservative — plain dials, Roman or baton markers, gold-plated and stainless cases, leather and bracelet straps, mostly quartz with a small number of mechanical models. Pocket watches remain part of the catalogue, which few brands can still say.
It is a first watch, a school watch, a work watch and a gift watch, and it has been all four for over a century without pretending to be anything else.
