The rectangular case is a deliberate choice — at 22mm wide it sits on the wrist as an accessory as much as a timepiece, and the geometry reinforces that. The dial plays two textures against each other: a sunray-finished outer ring and a vertically striped centre, both in white, giving the face some depth without colour. Gold-plated accents run through the crown, hands, indices and the central links of the multi-row bracelet, so the two-tone effect is consistent rather than incidental. The PC21 movement inside is a Seiko-made calibre — Lorus being a Seiko subsidiary means the quartz at the core meets the same manufacturing standards Seiko applies to its own house production, which is a reasonable thing to have in a bracelet watch built to wear daily.
