The Empire line sits at the fashion end of Michael Kors' range, and the MK4840 makes no pretence of being anything else: it is jewellery that tells the time, not a watch that happens to look decorative. The rectangular case is built flush into a polished bangle bracelet, and the whole piece reads as a rigid cuff rather than a strap-and-case arrangement.
