Stepping up in Norqain's range
Norqain launched as a brand only in 2018, and the Adventure line has been its clearest statement of what it is trying to do: produce properly specified mechanical watches at a size that has largely been abandoned by the rest of the Swiss industry. At 37mm, this sits where a classical sports watch once lived before the market drifted toward 40mm and beyond, and it will suit wrists that most contemporary tool watches simply overwhelm. The N08 calibre is a Sellita SW200-1 underneath, which is a sensible and robust choice — well-supported, accurately regulated in this application, and a movement owners do not need to worry about. The grey textured dial reads calmly in most light, the rubber strap keeps the whole thing practical, and 100m of water resistance covers everything short of serious diving.
