That construction is not decoration: it is why a 42mm watch sits at 12.3mm thin despite being rated to 200m, and why it weighs 84 grams on the wrist rather than feeling like the instrument it technically is. The black dial is laser-cut across three levels, which means the texture shifts as the light moves rather than reading as a flat surface. The side plate is user-swappable, an unusual touch that acknowledges the watch is meant to be worn hard and personalised over time. The khaki rubber strap ties the whole thing together visually — the shock absorber inside the case uses the same colour, so the material choice reads as structural rather than cosmetic. The NN20/1 movement inside was developed with Kenissi and carries COSC certification, which means its timekeeping tolerance has been independently verified. Seventy hours of power reserve means a weekend left in the drawer does not require resetting on Monday morning.
