The deep cherry lacquer sunray dial shifts as the light moves across it, the marquise-cut crystal hour markers catch at angles the sunray cannot, and the pavé bezel frames all of it in 52 clear stones. Nothing here is subtle, and it is not trying to be. At 34mm the case sits without overwhelming a smaller wrist, and the gold ion-plated link bracelet — closed by a push-button deployment — gives it the kind of drape that a plain folded clasp rarely achieves.
